Mindful Life: An Online Meditation Mentoring Program

Join me for a year long study of meditation and Buddhist psychology and philosophy. The teachings will be tailored to those who live in the world with an emphasis of how to incorporate these practices in our relationships, families, jobs, communities and the world.
The year will be divided into two sessions for 5 months each and students can sign up for one or both. The first session will cover the five powers of mind: Mindfulness, Concentration, Energy, Faith/Confidence and Wisdom. The second session will cover the boundless heart practices: Compassion, Lovingkindness, Sympathetic Joy and Equanimity. Students are allowed to sign up for one or both of these sessions.
These practices will help you to overcome the negativity of the mind and alleviate stress. You will also discover the ancient Buddhist texts with poetic stories and advice for life as relevant today as 2,500 years ago. Receive one on one and group support for your practice. Gain a deeper understanding of consciousness and the laws of life. Make new friends and be a part of a welcoming and genuine community. Grow the positive habits of love, compassion, wisdom, virtue and generosity. And find a deeper happiness.
We will meet on zoom one Saturday a month and other optional weekly small group meetings. It includes an optional one on one meeting with Melissa.
